Typed copy of a diary of Henry Lunt who served as "Assistant Clerk of the company of original pioneers to Parowan, Utah." Lunt records the journey of the pioneers to Parowan, Utah, and the activities of these settlers after they had arrived. The diary starts on 16 Dec. 1850 and ends on 2 Jan. 1852 and has many gaps.

WorldCat record id: 83588704 Henry Lunt (1824-1902) was baptized into the Mormon Church in Birmingham, England in 1849. He came to Utah the following year and volunteered to go with settlers to Iron County. In 1851 he was called as to be the captain of the company that founded Cedar City.
